Kuki Human Right Council Extends Felicitations to KIM

UKHRUL: The Kuki Human Right Council on Saturday extended its felicitations to the newly elected leaders of the Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) – president Ch Ajang Khongsai, vice president Henkhopao Haokip, general secretary Paotinthang Lupheng, finance secretary Lala Misao, secretary information & publicity Janghaulun Haokip for the tenure 2025-2028.

As the apex organization representing the Kuki populace in Manipur, this leadership transition heralds a pivotal moment for the community, the Kuki Human Right Council said in a statement.

The Kuki Human Right Council urged the Kuki Inpi Manipur to exhibit unwavering valor and probity, resolutely pursuing its demand for a separate administrative framework under the Constitution of India.

“Kuki Inpi Manipur must stand steadfast and intrepid, leading its people with acumen and vision to champion this demand. The Council underscores the imperative for Kuki Inpi to assiduously safeguard the rich cultural heritage, history, and identity of the Kuki community, while fostering unity and progress amongst its constituent sub-tribes with utmost care and honesty,” it stated.

The Kuki Human Right Council further pledged its unyielding support to the Kuki Inpi Manipur and extended its best wishes for a triumphant tenure (2025-2028).
