The President of Kuki Tribal Union (KTU), NSCN/GPRN, Lh Paohao Khongsai considers signing of the Framework Agreement under the supervision of Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi is of great “political significance” and that it must be fulfilled. “There is no other way forward,” he added.

“Most importantly, the mishandling of the historic Framework Agreement (FA) by RN Ravi be corrected in the manner the Framework Agreement was signed,” Mr Khongsai, who is also a member of the Steering Committee, said in a press statement issued on Wednesday

“It is a matter of shame for Ravi to bring his own disgrace as he deliberately misinterpreted the FA to serve his sinister design,” contented the KTU president. “This treacherous and devilish works of Ravi the world at large is silently watching because FA was signed underthe full glare of the world,” he added.

Mr Khongsai also conveyed his “warmest greetings to all Naga people,” including the NSCN leaders “who work tirelessly for the cause of the Naga Nation.”

Hoping and praying that 2021 would bring positive change on the part of the Government of India and resolve the elusive Naga political issue that is honorable and acceptable to the Naga people and India, the KTU statement added, “Let the New Year 2021 bring all happiness, joy and certainties of our political aspirations.”
