Ukhrul: Continuous heavy rain since yesterday has caused multiple landslides across Ukhrul District, severely disrupting daily life and infrastructure. The situation has led to widespread reports of landslides, including a significant incident at Phungreitang West, where an electric pole was swept away.

One of the most affected areas is Shirui, where a landslide has completely cut off vehicle movement on NH 150 (Ukhrul-Jessami Road). Further reports indicate numerous landslides along the Ukhrul-Imphal road, leaving vehicles stranded at various locations, including Kazipphung in Ukhrul – Imphal road.
