Liangmai Students’ body celebrates Mairidin Newmai’s victory at the Matrix Fight Night

Peren, April 4: The Liangmai Students’ Union Nagaland (LSUN) has extended its congratulations to Mairidin Newmai for his recent victory at Matrix Fight Night (MEN) on March 31, 2023, in Delhi in a congratulatory message on Tuesday.

Mairidin Newmai who is trained at The Combat Academy, Nagaland represented the entire Nagaland State in the MEN.

Matrix Fight Night is an international professional MMA organization, similar to the UFC, OneFC, Bellator, and others. Professional fighters from around the world are signed under its banner, and multiple fights across multiple weight classes take place. The recent event in Delhi was their 11th show.

Mairidin Newmai’s hard work and dedication have earned him a remarkable achievement, bringing a symbol of victory to the Naga community, the congratulatory message from the student body said.

“The community takes great pride in his success and wishes him luck in future endeavors. The LSUN congratulates him and further prays for his continued success in future all his endeavors,” it added.

LSUN also expressed their confidence in his ability to achieve his dreams and bring honor to the Naga community. They also offered prayers for his safety and success in future fights.

“We believe he will achieve everything he works towards and bring laurels to the entire Naga community. We also pray to the almighty father to continue to bless him and keep him safe as he heads towards future fights,” it stated.
