KSO Sadar Hills Holds Meeting with Departmental Officers, Withdraws 48-Hour Ultimatum

UKHRUL: The Kuki Students’ Organisation, Sadar Hills (KSO-SH), has withdrawn the 48-hour ultimatum it previously issued to various government departments. This decision comes after a productive meeting with departmental officers at the KSO Sadar Hills Administrative Office today.

In a press communiqué issued today, KSO-SH stated that the meeting resulted in a solemn assurance from the officers to ensure the effective functioning of their offices and the prompt resolution of public grievances.

“Due to this positive development, KSO Sadar Hills hereby rescinds the 48-hour ultimatum issued earlier,” the student body announced, urging all departmental officers in the district to maintain regular office attendance and provide proactive assistance in addressing public concerns.

Additionally, the organization declared that it will conduct periodic surprise inspections to monitor progress and ensure accountability. Any failure to fulfill duties will result in decisive action, they stated.

It is worth noting that the Kuki Students’ Organisation, Sadar Hills, had issued a 48-hour ultimatum to irregular and negligent officials of the Executive Engineer (EE), PHED, Kangpokpi Division, and the Deputy Director, TA/Hills, Kangpokpi. The ultimatum followed a surprise inquiry by KSO executives at the offices, located in the DC Office Complex, Kangpokpi, following repeated public grievances regarding irregularities and neglect of duty by officials.
