LNKR-EZ Holds Annual Assembly at Ariang

UKHRUL: The Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi, Manipur, Eastern Zone (LNKR-EZ) on Wednesday held its Annual Assembly at Ariang Ariang village (Khunkhu Naga village) near Kanglatongbi, Imphal West with members and representatives from across the Eastern Zone in attendance. 

The assembly deliberated on key issues concerning the community and outlined important initiatives for the coming period. 

One of the major resolutions of the meeting was to organize a Career Guidance Programme to support students and youth in exploring higher education and employment opportunities, while stressing on the need to guide young people towards responsible, productive, and meaningful career paths, LNKR-EZ said in a statement.

The assembly also resolved to undertake a tour of the Eastern Zone to strengthen coordination, communication, and engagement with members at the grassroots level.

Further, the assembly also discussed the prevailing situation in Manipur and shared their concerns and perspectives on recent developments and their implications for the region and the community.

LNKR-EZ called upon young people to actively participate in community initiatives and remain steadfast in protecting their land, culture, and collective interests.

“The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to unity, cooperation, and collective efforts for the welfare and progress of the community,” it added.
