LNKR Hosts Successful Mega Literary Meet cum Felicitation Program 2024 in Tamenglong

Tamenglong: The Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi (LNKR) successfully organized a two-day LNKR Mega Literary Meet cum Felicitation Program, which concluded on October 4. Held under the theme “Building Confidence,” the event saw participation from approximately 1100 students and leaders from various institutions across the region.

Addressing the gathering, LNKR President Mathiuchunbou Rimai emphasized the objectives behind the event, stating that the program aimed to showcase students’ talents, foster the exchange of ideas, and promote cordial relations among schools in the area. “This platform was created to empower students and allow them to explore their potential,” he added.

Prominent leaders from the district graced the event, including Shri D. Meidinbui, MCS, SDO Tamenglong, Smt. Renee Newmai, SDO Tamei, and Shri N. Abonpou Christopher, MES, ZEO Tamenglong, who addressed the students and urged them to make the most of such opportunities. Religious leaders, including Rev. Dr. Alungbou Newmai, Executive Secretary of the Liangmai Naga Baptist Association (Manipur), also blessed the proceedings and offered words of encouragement.

The event featured several competitions, including Extempore Speech, Debate, and Quiz, which saw spirited participation from students. The winners were as follows:

  • Winner: Ngamjengluibou Pamai of Langmai Hr. Sec. School, Tamei
  • Runner-up: Sisubou Parinmai of Liangnah School, Tamei
  • Debate Competition:
  • Winner: Wilamdinliu of Hope Foundation Academy, Chiang
  • Runner-up: Widaidailiu Ringkangmai of Paragon English High School, Makui
  • Quiz Competition:
  • Winners: Wibibibou Newmai & Kawihiambou Rimai of Langmai Hr. Sec. School, Tamei
  • Runners-up: Mathawiliu Moita & Jairus Pamei of Liangnah School, Tamei

LNKR extended its heartfelt gratitude to all participants, speakers, and attendees for their contributions towards making the Mega Literary Meet cum Felicitation Program 2024 a resounding success.
