LNKR-M condemns ‘barbaric and unlawful act’ perpetrated against innocent Konsakhul civilians

Imphal: The Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi, Manipur (LNKR-M) or Liangmai Student Union, while condemning the “barbaric and unlawful act perpetrated against the innocent civilians of Konsakhul village at Leilon Vaiphei village on March 26, 2023”, has drawn the attention of the chief minister of Manipur to arrest immediately all the culprits involved in vandalising the JCB excavator and burning down of a two wheeler into ashes.

The LNKR-M further urged the chief minister to immediately suspend the officer in-charge and other police personnel of Leimakhong police station “involved in harassment and physical assault of the innocent victims”.

The student body while demanded compensation for all the losses in the incident, then urged the chief minister to acknowledge the rights of the landowner of Konsakhul and ensure justice at the earliest.

The Liangmai student body also urged the chief minister to immediately arrest all the culprits involved in abduction, physical assault with an attempt to murder of innocent civilians.
