Lumdiengjri Police Station of East Khasi declared Best police station in Meghalaya

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has declared Lumdiengjri Police Station of East Khasi Hills district as the best police station in Meghalaya in its annual ranking of Police Stations for the year 2020.

The ‘Certificate of Excellence’ was handed over to the Officer-in-Charge, Lumdiengjri Police Station by the Inspector General of Police (Eastern Range) MK Dkhar, IPS, in presence of the East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, S Nongtnger.

East Khasi Hills Police, Meghalaya wrote from their Facebook handle, “Today, 20th April 2021, Inspector General of Police (ER) Shri M. K. Dkhar, IPS handed over the ‘Certificate of Excellence Award’ to the Officer-in- Charge Lumdiengjri Police Station, Inspector K.P Singh in presence of the Superintendent of Police East Khasi Hills, Shri S. Nongtnger, IPS. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has adjudged Lumdingjri Police Station in its annual ranking of Police Stations for 2020 as the Best Police Station in Meghalaya.”
