Malemkhomba Salam appointed as the state co-ordinator for social media department by AICC

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) on Thursday, issued a press statement on the appointment of Malemkhomba Salam as the State Co-ordinator in the Social Media Department of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee with immediate effect.

Malemkhomba’s appointment approval was in line with the All India Congress Committee (AICC) appointment of 25 State Chairmen and State Co-ordinators of 10 states by the General Secretary of AICC, K C Vengoupal MP on Wednesday.

The 25 states are namely Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chandigarh, Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Manipur, Mumbai and Nagaland, said the statement.

Malemkhomba Salam is said to be from Hiyanglam Assembly constituency and has been serving as the State Co-ordinator of the Social Media Department of MPCC since 2018.

He was also formerly, Secretary (Administrator) of Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress Committee, Secretary of Lok Sabha (Outer) Youth Congress Committee, State Co-ordinator of Social Media Department of MPCC for two terms. He was a member of Publicity Committee, MPCC for the Lok Sabha Election 2019, added the statement.
