Man shot dead in Manipur

Imphal: A man said to be betel leaf seller was shot dead by armed miscreants at Uchon village under Andro police station of Imphal East district on Friday afternoon, according to police.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be established, the police said.

The police added that the miscreants killed him by pumping a bullet on his head. It is not clear why the man was killed. 

No organisation has claimed responsibility for the act till the filing of this report.
