Manipur: 30 state winners of Femina Miss India 2023 arrives in Imphal for grand finale

Imphal: Ahead of the 59th Femina Miss India 2023 grand finale in Manipur, 30 state winners were accorded richly in traditional costumes upon their arrival at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport in Imphal.

The grand finale of the beauty pageant will be hosted by Manipur on April 15 at Indoor Stadium of Khuman Lampak Sports Complex in Imphal, making it the first in the Northeast region.

Welcoming the beauty queens to Manipur, the Jewel of India, the land of culture and powerhouse of Indian sports, chief minister N Biren Singh took to twitter. “…With the Grand Finale of Femina Miss India happening in Manipur, I hope you enjoy your stay in this beautiful State and carry the message of goodwill, friendliness and the warm hospitality of Manipur on your departure.”

The Femina Miss India 2023 pageant grand finale will be co-host by Bollywood actress and youth icon Bhumi Padnekar and magnetic Maniesh Paul. Also, the glittering event will see performances by Bollywood actors Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan.

The state winners will also be walking the ramp in gorgeous ensembles designed by the iconic designers Rocky S and Namrata Joshipura, and a special showcase by Robert Naorem, featuring traditional costumes. 

“This special segment will aim to promote the textile, art and culture of the state,” said the organisers.

The 30 state winners will be judged by a panel consisting of Femina Miss India Universe 2002 and Mentor Neha Dhupia, boxing icon Laishram Sarita Devi, and designers Rocky S and Namrata Joshipura.
