Manipur Govt Orders Major Administrative Reshuffle in Ukhrul, Kakching

UKHRUL: The Government of Manipur on Friday issued an order transferring and posting several senior administrative officers in the state, affecting the districts of Ukhrul and Kakching.

According to the order, Ashish Das, the current Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary in the Government of Manipur. Angeline Renita, who is presently serving as Joint Secretary and Project Director of MACS, has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Kakching.

Meanwhile, Uppuluri Chaitanya, the current Deputy Commissioner of Kakching, has been transferred and posted as the new Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul.

The transfer and posting order was issued by Bidyaram Ayekpam, Joint Secretary (DP), Government of Manipur, with the concurrence of the Election Commission of India (ECI).
