Manipur Police Incinerates 332 kg of Seized Drugs

Ukhrul, September 27: In a major anti-narcotics operation, the Manipur Police disposed of 332.813 kilograms of seized narcotic substances at the Shija Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility in Lamdeng today.

The destroyed contraband, according to Manipur Police included a variety of illicit drugs, to curb the illegal drug trade in the state.

The breakdown of the seized substances is as follows:

  • Heroin Powder: 6.001 kg
  • Brown Sugar: 86.871 kg
  • WY Tablets: 22.128 kg
  • Pseudoephedrine Tablets: 36.079 kg
  • Ganja: 181.687 kg
  • SP Capsules: 0.047 kg

    The total weight of the destroyed narcotics amounted to 332.813 kilograms.

    The disposal was carried out under strict supervision to ensure compliance with legal and environmental protocols at the designated waste treatment facility.
