UKHRUL: The Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM), Council Headquarters on Monday appealed to the Governor to disburse all pending and current bills for completed contract works in the hill areas of Manipur.

In a representation submitted to the Governor of Manipur, TYCM–CHQ also urged the governor to release schemes, pension, salary, and honorarium of tribal/christian government employees before Christmas 2025.

“Christmas is the most precious and sacred occasion for Christians and comes once in a year. After working tirelessly throughout the 365 days of the year, this festive season becomes a time for rest, joy, thanksgiving, and spiritual renewal. It is also a period during which families incur essential expenses as part of the celebration,” TYCM–CHQ stated.
