Manipur’s Gold & Silver Medalist, Dinesh Naorem gets rousing welcome at Home

Dinesh Naorem, the fierce fighter from Manipur who bagged a gold medal and a silver medal at the Global Association of Martial Arts (GAMMA) Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) at the Asian MMA championship 2021 has returned home.

The champion, Dinesh Naorem who competed in the 56.7 kg category was given a rousing welcome today.

Dinesh secured the gold in 56.7 kg category of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and the silver in the striking MMA.

Dinesh Naorem is from Kakching Makha Lou, and is said to be the eldest child of Naorem Yaima and Naorem Ongbi Monbi Devi.

Asian MMA Championships 2021 was held in Kyrgyzstan from August 24 to August 28, 2021.
