Memorial Stone erected in memory of martyrs of Kuki Tribal Union (NSCN IM)

A monolith was unveiled on Thursday by Maj. Retd. Hutovi Chishi, Convener of the Steering Committee and the monolith dedication prayer was pronounced by Revd. Joseph Ruivah, President of the Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) in the presence of Mr. Lh. Paohao, President of KTU and a host of NSCN/GPRN leaders and members, a press statement from Ministry of Information and Publicity NSCN IM said.

It said, the Kuki Tribal Union (KTU), NSCN/GPRN erected the memorial stone at the KTU office compound, CHq Hebron in memory of four martyrs of KTU, NSCN/GPRN who gave their precious lives on different occasions for the cause of the Naga nation.

According to the press statement, a Kuki traditional shawl was presented to the Convener of the Steering Committee by the KTU President and his wife and a sumptuous Kuki traditional meal was served to the members present at the program by the KTU.
