CHURACHANDPUR: The Community Development Society (CDS) on Wednesday observed the 45th Foundation Day of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) at its Resource Centre in Pearsonmun, Churachandpur district.
Speaking on the occasion, NABARD District Development Manager (DDM) Paubiakmang Ngaihte said that NABARD remains committed to supporting NGOs and Self-Help Groups (SHGs). He also distributed weaving machines to beneficiaries through the Community Development Society as part of its developmental initiatives.
As part of the programme, Centre for Financial Literacy (CFL) Manager Hauminlian Neihsial and Field Coordinator L. Kamzasuan delivered awareness sessions on financial literacy and the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), highlighting the importance of financial inclusion and social security schemes.
