Nagaland: Consultative Meeting slated for April 30 Postponed

Kohima, April 28: The Government of Nagaland plan to convene a ‘consultative meeting’ on April 30, 2025, at 10 am in in Kohima to deliberate on various issues has been postponed.

The topics to deliberate include Naga political issue, Free Movement Regime (FMR), Foothill Road, Protected Area Permit (PAP) issue, maintenance of peace in the state in the wake of recent political developments, Inner Line Permit (ILP), customary laws, Nagaland Village & Tribal Area Council Act and RIIN.

The Nagaland Chief Minister, the Deputy Chief Ministers, the Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA), the Deputy Speaker, all the ministers, the Member of Parliament Lok Sabha, the Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha, Advisors, all MLAs, the Chief Secretary, along with other senior officials of the State Government initially said will be present in the meeting.

The Home department, Government of Nagaland had invited presidents of Naga organisations to the consultative meeting.
