Nagaland COVID-19 improvement rate at 75%: Promising

DIMAPUR: The overall COVID-19 situation in Nagaland has improved tremendously with the fast decreasing cases of the disease and also the encouraging rate of recoveries.

According to the Health department, the recovery rate of COVID-19 cases in the state has improved to 75%.

In the past several days now that the state’s commercial hub Dimapur bordering Assam has been seeing the single-digit figure of COVID-19 cases. If at all there was a double-digit issue of the cases of COVID-19, the cases were reported more from the security forces from their camps.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Dimapur has a zero case of detection of COVID-19. 
According to the Health department, till date Nagaland has reported 3851 cases of COVID-19. Out of this figure, 2,858 cases have already recovered from the disease. With this update, the state has now 975 active cases of COVID-19. 

It can be noted that businesses in the state capital Kohima and commercial hub Dimapur have been going on almost normal for the past two weeks now. In Dimapur, the shops and other commercial establishments have been operating from 10 am to 5 pm on a daily basis except on Wednesday and Sunday.
