Kohima, Mar 28: The Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland, has informed today that the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, has released Rs 37 crore for payment of the post-matric scholarship to ST students of Nagaland, which the scheme implementing agency will soon disburse to the beneficiaries after completing the necessary formalities.

Furthermore, the scheme implementing agency acknowledged the efforts of the Minister for Tourism & Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along, for his proactiveness and all-out efforts in coordinating with the funding ministry for the release of scholarships, the education directorate also said. 

The scheme implementing agency also thanked the Union Minister and the Ministry officials of Tribal Affairs for releasing the sanction order at the specified time.
