Nagaland records 93 fresh cases of COVID-19

UT News Service | Dimapur, August 9: Nagaland recorded 93 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. According to the Health department, out of the fresh cases, 62 are from Dimapur, 20 from Kohima, 8 from Peren, 2 from Mon and 1 from Zunheboto.

The report then said that, out of the 62 cases in Dimapur, 25 are security force personnel, 12 are returnees, 18 are traced contacts and 7 are frontline workers.

The report also said that, out of the 20 fresh cases of COVID-19 detected in Kohima, 9 are security force personnel, 10 are traced contacts and 1 is a returnee.

Regarding the fresh cases in Peren, all the 8 cases are security force personnel.

According to the Health department, the fresh cases of COVID-19 were detected during the testing of 800 samples.
