Kohima, Sept 25: The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) is all set to participate in the AITWPF 12th National Traditional Wrestling & Pankration Championship, scheduled to take place in Dehradun from October 3 to 6. In a press release, NWA informed that it has assembled a team of 46 members, which includes 36 wrestlers, 2 officiating referees, 3 refresher referees, and 5 team officials.

According to the release, an intensive five-day coaching camp commenced today at the Sechü Zubza Council Hall in Kohima, aimed at preparing the team for the competition. The camp will conclude on September 29, after which the team will leave for Dehradun on September 30.
The NWA anticipates that the team will return to Nagaland on either October 10 or 11. They are calling on wrestling enthusiasts and the broader Nagaland community to support Team Nagaland in their prayers as they head into the championship.
