Itanagar, Jun 7: Namsai Fresh Cow Ghee, a natural dairy product sourced from the hills of Namsai district in Arunachal Pradesh, has gained national recognition under NITI Aayog’s Aspirational Districts and Blocks Programme. This initiative, part of the Vocal for Local campaign, promotes traditional and local products from aspirational districts across India.

Produced by Namsai Dairy Ltd., a Dairy Farmers Producer Organization (FPO) comprising 120 members, Namsai Fresh Cow Ghee and other dairy products like milk, dahi, paneer, cream, and sweets reflect the pristine quality and heritage of Arunachal Pradesh. The ghee is made from “Desi” cattle raised on natural open grazing pastures within community forests, ensuring sustainability and authenticity in dairy farming.
