NBSE Announces HSLC and HSSLC Exam Results

Kohima, April 25: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) announced the results for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination and the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSLC) Examination today.

Lungyihangle Nring from St. Paul Hr. Sec. School in Dimapur achieved the highest score in the HSLC Examination, securing an impressive 98.67%.

In total, 5,453 students from government schools participated in the HSLC Examination, with a qualification rate of 48.41%. In contrast, 15,976 students from private schools enrolled, achieving a pass rate of 87.64%. Additionally, 884 repeat students took the exam, with 14.59% successfully qualifying.

In the HSSLC Examination, Vikhono Senotsu from GHSS, Jotsoma, Kohima, topped the Arts stream with 96.20%, while Arti Kumari from Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, achieved 94.60% in the Commerce stream, and Snigtha Mukherjee from St. John Higher Secondary Residential School scored 93.40% in the Science stream.

A total of 12,404 students enrolled for the Arts stream, 1,027 for Commerce, and 3,218 for Science, with pass percentages of 84.05%, 81.40%, and 76.54%, respectively.

The HSLC and HSSLC Examinations were conducted at 97 and 68 examination centers, respectively.
