Imphal: NEET (UG) Medical Examination 2023 for Imphal Centre will be held on June 6 in altogether 22 Examination Centres. The Examination Centres are 12 in Imphal West District and 10 in Imphal East District. The exam was held on May 7 all over India but for Manipur it was postponed owing to the ethnic clash that sparked off from Churachandpur and Bishnupur Districts adjoining on May 3.

Out of the total 8,751 candidates who had applied for appearing the exam in Manipur, 1,914 candidates re-applied for changing examination venue owing to the prevailing crisis. Briefing media at Imphal West Deputy Commissioner Office in Lamphel today, DC Th. Kirankumar said the exam will be held from 12 noon till 3:20 pm. He said candidates have to report at their respective exam venues by 9 am and gates of exam centres will be closed by 11:30 am.

Regarding admit cards for the exam, DC Th. Kirankumar said candidates may visit relevant DC offices to download their admit cards or from Sishu Nishtha Niketan located at Kwakeithel Mayai Koibi. He added that these admit cards will be as good as curfew pass for the candidates and invigilators identity cards of teachers will be their curfew pass.

Owing to certain inconvenience, Lamlong Higher Secondary School Examination Centre has been shifted to Ananda Singh Higher Secondary Academy, Old Chekon. DC Th. Kirankumar also informed that those candidates who had opted for centers outside Manipur but couldn’t appear may appear at the exam centre mentioned in the old admit card before applying for venue change.
