NEFEC To Host 7th Edition of Edu-Fest 2024 This October

Ukhrul Sep 24: The North East Foundation for Education and Culture (NEFEC) is set to host the 7th edition of Edu-Fest 2024 in collaboration with the District Administration of Ukhrul. The state-level competition will kick off on the 17th of October and conclude on the 19th of October 2024 at Ukhrul Headquarters.

“Bring your best to the 7th State Level Edu-Fest 2024. With a firm commitment to offer a multitude of opportunities for students, the Education Festival 2024 (Edu-Fest 2024) is organized to provide a platform for showcasing talents and creativity, a stepping stone towards achieving greater goals, and a means to foster a fair competitive environment among the state’s students. This festival is centered around solving real cases and problems, allowing students to actively participate in shaping their future,” stated the organizer.

The 3-day education festival will provide students the opportunity to compete in eleven disciplines, including: Quiz, Spelling Bee (2 categories), Painting (3 categories), Creative Writing, Extempore Speech, My Dream (Futurological Project), Mini Marathon: Run for Peace (2 categories), Mime, Singing (Acapella), Choreography, and Cultural Show. Each competition and event will be judged by a panel of experts from relevant fields.

Participants and schools will be recognized for their achievements through cash awards, certificates, and trophies. Special awards will be given for overall excellence, including Best School Participation (Team Champion) and Outstanding Individual Performances.

The festival will also feature a Career Orientation Session from educationists and motivational talks from renowned figures. This will ensure that students do not just compete but also take home invaluable lessons and information from the festival. Edu-Fest 2024 will be a landmark event in the state’s educational calendar, offering students a unique opportunity to excel, collaborate, and grow. By integrating academic rigor with cultural and sports activities, this championship will help nurture well-rounded individuals prepared to contribute positively to society.
