NEHU Students’ Union organising talk on National Education Policy

Shillong: The North Eastern Hill University Students’ Union will organize a talk on National Education Policy titled, ‘National Education Policy 2020: A neo-liberal onslaught on the fundamental right to education’ to appraise’ at the NEHU campus on Friday.

Eminent scholars of NEHU, Prof H Srikanth of the Political Science Department, Prof Prasenjit Biswas of the Philosophy Department, Prof XP Mao of the Philosophy Department and Prof S Pradhan of the Commerce Department from St Anthony’s College will join the talk on NEP.

The talk will be graced by the presence of Mawlai MLA, Brightstarwell Marbaniang. Robertjune Kharjahrin, President of Hynniewtrep Youth Council and a student representative Sonal KS will also participate in the event to pitch in from the student’s perspective.
