New Canara Bank outlet to open in Noney soon

According to reliable source, permission for opening of General Banking outlet of Canara Bank at Noney Bazaar has been accorded permission by the competent authorities.

The authorization of the new outlet in Noney comes with the Reserve Bank of India providing relaxation to Domestic Scheduled Commercial Bank to open banking outlet in Tier 1 to Tier 6 Centres.

Meanwhile, several number of Ration Card beneficiaries were deleted from monthly ration due to non linkage of Ration with Aadhaar. According to a notice given by DC Tamenglong, Armstrong Pame IAS, however, linkage of Aadhaar is still open and allocation shall be restored.

The notice also said there are people who have been issued Ration Card earlier and linkage also done, if their quotas of rice is not allocated yet, all such beneficiary are advised to submit a photo copy of their Ration Card along with Aadhaar to their concerned FPS agent. Once verified by SDOs, they shall be allotted their quantum of FPS item. Source also asked to submit their claims before May 10.
