New leaders of Japhou Youth Club Installed

CHANDEL, NOVEMBER 9: The New Office Bearers of Japhou Youth Club (JYC) Chandel was installed on Sunday, the November 9, 2025. The installation was blessed by Rev. K. Kumar, Pastor of Japhou Baptist Church. The new tenure of 3 years (2025-2028) will be led by Ng. Kennedy President, Sh. Promshing Vice President, Ng. Parningkham Vice President, H. Skelly General Secretary, K. Areila Finance Secretary, Th. Moningdar Education Secretary, Kh. Thembung Cultural Secretary, Sh. Marconi Sports Secretary, Ng. Taningkham Women Coordinator and W. Kennedy Information and Publicity Secretary.

After the installation, a simple ceremony was held in the office of the club for a change of guard. Dr. W. Somie, Former President, on behalf the outgoing team, highlighted the club’s achievements during their tenure and challenges they faced. Meanwhile, the new President Ng. Kennedy, on behalf of the new team, appreciated the former leaders for their relentless service and further acknowledge the sincere efforts of the club’s Advisory Board Members in making the transition of power smooth. He then assured to take up the requisite need that was left unaddressed and give absolute emphasis on the upliftment and growth of the club.

The change of guard ceremony was held in the presence of JYC Advisory Board Convenor Sh. Nicodim and members Ng. Samson, K. Edward and H. Jeshila. The ceremony also attended by Auditors Sh. Joyson and Dr. W. Ruwngsin.
