Ngahui area locals rush to junction for free health care scheme

The ongoing State Health Agency (GoM) undertaking state-wide enrolment drive from December 1st – December 10th, 2020 organised by the Manipur state health department under the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya (AB-PMJAY) and Chief Ministergi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) have seen several beneficiaries enroling for the scheme conducted in designated locality/village/ward in Ukhrul and Kamjong districts.

As per source, eligible beneficiaries current enrolment drive at Ngahui village junction at the second and final day on Sunday closed at 126 -PMJAY, 47 CMHT and 115 Birth Certificate to make the card and to avail of free medical services.

AB-PMJAY is a health scheme that provides free hospitalisation of upto Rs 5 lakhs per year per family as per Socio Economic Caste Census (SECC 2011) and for those not covered under AB-PMJAY, CMHT provides free hospitalisation of upto Rs 2 lakhs per year per family for poor families in Manipur.

Scheduled dates for the enrolment drive under Tuinem village area started on December 1st and ended on December 4th.

With the end of Ngahui village enrolment drive as directed by State Health Agency (GoM) for Ukhrul and Kamjong Districts, Kongkan village area will be next.
