NH-202 PKG-III Approved, Road Work to Begin Soon

UKHRUL: A meeting between the NH-202 Development Committee, Ukhrul, the Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, Ashish Das, and NHIDCL Manager Salman Khan concluded on Monday with several progressive decisions regarding the development of National Highway-202.

During the meeting, Package-III of NH-202 under 3G NHIDCL received approval. Road maintenance and strengthening works are expected to be completed within a month, while the process for Package-IV of the highway is currently underway.

Following the developments, the blockade imposed along NH-202 on Sunday midnight was lifted on Monday. The Development Committee expressed gratitude to the public for adhering to the blockade and extending their support to the collective cause.
