Ningshem Vashum and Rakesh Balwal promoted to DIG rank

Ukhrul, October 11: Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Saturday presided over a rank pipping ceremony at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, to mark the promotion of two IPS officers.

As per a press release, Rakesh Balwal and Ningshem Vashum have been promotetd to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP).

The Governor placed the new rank insignia on the officers during the ceremony and congratulated them on their promotion, wishing them success in their continued service to the State and the nation.

Additional Director Generals of Police, Ashutosh Kumar Sinha (Intelligence) and Lupheng Kailun (Law and Order), were also present at the function.
