NorthEast largest auditorium inaugrated in Guwahati

UKHRUL: Jyoti-Bishnu Antarjatik Kala Mandir, the largest auditorium in the North East region was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday (December 29) in Guwahati, Assam.

Measuring a capacity of 5000 spectators, the auditorium is spread over a 45 bighas (14.85 acres) of land in Khanapara and was built at a cost of Rs 291 crore.

The complex also includes a multi-level car parking for 450 vehicles, convention centre, five VIP suites, advanced audio-visual systems, digital infrastructure and modern stage facilities. According to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the complex will operate on green energy.
