UKHRUL: Joseph Lotha has taken charge as the new kilo secretary of the NSCN/GPRN, following a handing-over and charge-taking ceremony held on Monday, the organisation’s Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP) said.
The ceremony was attended by departmental colleagues and community representatives, according to a statement issued by the MIP.
Outgoing kilo secretary Qhetoyi A. Swu formally handed over the duties and responsibilities of the office to Lotha during the ceremony.

The MIP said the ceremony recognised Swu’s contributions during his tenure and welcomed Lotha as the new head of the Kilo Secretariat.
The Secretariat expressed gratitude to Swu for his leadership and service and extended its best wishes to Lotha as he assumes office.
Meanwhile, Mozamo Ngullie has taken charge as the new convener of the Steering Committee of the NSCN, succeeding Maj. Hutovi Chishi (Retd.), CLM.

The statement was issued by the MIP, NSCN/GPRN, on August 31.
