NSCN-IM chairman Q Tuccu: Govt of India not sincere in handling Naga political issue

A press release issued by NSCN-IM on Friday said the speech of Yaruiwo Q Tuccu read out by Ashiho Asoumai, convenor of Steering Committee, during the just concluded budget session “touched on the insincerity of the Government of India in handling the Naga political issue taking more than 23 years and still undecided how to go about on Framework Agreement signed more than five years ago”.

The press statement added, “But he reiterated the stand of NSCN that the Framework Agreement is the most credible logic for Naga political solution”.

NSCN-IM chairman pointed out that during the long period of Indo-Naga political talks, “NSCN had endured all the lies, deceit, conniving and sinister games directed towards the Nagas  to destroy the God given Naga political identity”.

Q Tuccu then thanked God for giving the NSCN-IM the courage  and strength to stand the ground. He also thanked God for giving the NSCN-IM leadership the  wisdom and guidance to withstand the divisive politics in the name of Naga political solution.
