The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN Isak-Muivah) faction distanced itself on a particular news report of Northeast Live saying that “NSCN/GPRN have nothing to do with the report wherein NSCN name was mentioned that seek to demand share of Covid funds.”
NSCN-IM pointed out that it is in total solidarity with the state government’s fight against the wicked Covid-19. We are, therefore, not involved in any manner that goes against humanity at this particular juncture where all Nagas, irrespective of social/political standing are expected to fight together.
Northeast Live on June 17 carried a news report that NSCN factions are allegedly seeking share of Covid-19 fund meant for battling the pandemic in Zunheboto district of Nagaland. K Tokugha Sukhalu, Advisor School Education Nagaland speaking to Northeast Live in an interview said that he was informed of 7-8 NSCN factions in the district seeking Covid-19 fund from the Nagaland government.
