Ukhrul, April 6: In a historic first, the NSCN-IM under the South East Command, the Naga Army opened a new camp “Mount Sinai” at Homalin. Mount Sinai camp was inaugurated by Rev. Zauw Kang Aung, Pastor of Naga Baptist Church, Homalin on 6 April 2025.

Kuhoto Sumi, Steering Executive Member of NSCN stated that “the Nagas have pledged allegiance to the Government of Nagalim, striving for unity without borders. Both our military and civilian sectors serve the nation’s best interests. Any deviation from this mission is a result of individual actions, not government intent. We prioritize the welfare of the common good and the nation’s prosperity as a whole.”

“Some leaders question whether our National Socialist Council of Nagalim is divided, but I assure them that our goal has always been the nation’s betterment. If any individual serving our organization prioritizes their individual interests over the organization’s mission, we take immediate action to prevent further harm. Certainly, some tend to portray that we, as the NSCN, are at a crossroads over whom to choose, but it is evident that the government, under our dynamic leadership, is in control. So, whenever I can, I keep telling public leaders that there is not an iota of doubt in the visionary leadership of General Ningkhan Anthony Shimray (MC, MV), Longvibu of Naga Army and he will continue to strengthen and unite our Nagas in the days to come” added Kuhoto Sumi.
