On 8 March, 2025, the Naga Students’ Union, Delhi, in collaboration with Lotha Students’ Union, Delhi, organised a workshop on CUET (UG) 2025 at Nagaland State Guest House, R.K. Puram, New Delhi. As informed in its circular issued on 3 March 2025, students who have cleared Hr. Secondary Examination or have appeared for the same and wish to pursue undergraduate courses/programs in central and state universities in Delhi must appear for CUET(UG) 2025 for the academic session of 2025 – 2026. The workshop was conducted especially for members of the NSUD Admission Help Desk (2024 – 2025) and representatives from other non-affiliated tribes as a capacity building exercise. The primary object of the
workshop was to impart an in-depth and practical knowledge about the CUET (UG) 2025 to enable the members of the NSUD Admission Help Desk and other participants to provide swift and effective guidance to Naga students, especially those back home, in matters related to CUET (UG) 2025 and the admission process that will follow.

The workshop was conducted by Mrs. Leimiwon Zimik, Asst. Professor, Department of Geology, University of Delhi. Since 2022, Mrs. Zimik has been voluntarily and extensively helping Naga students faced with issues related to CUET. It was stated that CUET, being at a nascent stage, is a dynamic examination system that is susceptible to frequent changes, and therefore, the participants were advised to keep track of and remain updated about any changes by routinely checking the official website of the National Testing Agency. Besides other aspects related to the exam, the resource person strongly urged on the need for candidates to be thorough about the Program Specific Eligibility (subjects/tests that a candidate needs to opt for and clear to get admission for a particular course/program) from the official website of their
desired university(ies) and to choose their test subjects accordingly at the time of filling up
their application forms.
