The UNC office imposed a stricture on all members of the Naga community to refrain from participating in the scheduled programme, as the question of common indigeneity is being brought into question. The UNC said it has time and again reminded all the tribe Hohos to refrain from attending any meeting, convention, or event hosted/organised by unmandated organisations, as it is tantamount to willful confrontation of the aspiration of the Nagas while extending their solidarity to the world Indigenous communities/peoples, the notice mentioned. Any recalcitrant individual/tribe participating in the scheduled event/program should not take the name of one’s tribe and speak on behalf of the Nagas, the notice warned.
