One-day Public Convention addressing ongoing crises held at Moirang

Bishnupur: A one-day public convention was held today at Ibudhou Thangjing Leikon, Moirang organized by people from different organizations in the Moirang constituency to address the ongoing crisis. More than one thousand people from different parts of Moirang AC participated in the public convention.

After thorough deliberation involving various sections of society, the people collectively passed a resolution on various agendas.

The convention unanimously resolved to preserve the unified integrity of Manipur and firmly stood its ground in opposing any separate administration within Manipur or the division of Manipur into smaller entities.

They united in their resolution against any narco-terrorism and strongly urged the implementation of the National Register of Citizens (NRC).

Furthermore, the resolution urged the MLAs to exert pressure and advocate for the amendment of the Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms (MLR-LR) Act of 1960 to establish a uniform land law.
