New office bearers of NPF Manipur take oath; committed to peaceful co-existence, says president

Imphal: The oath-taking ceremony for new office bearers of Divisional Unit, Area Unit, and Frontal Wings office of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) Manipur State Unit for the tenure 2024 to 2028 took place at Hotel Imphal on Monday.

Minister Awangbou Newmai who has been re-elected as the president of the NPF Manipur State Unit for another term led in taking oath.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Awangbou Newmai expressed the party’s commitment to promoting peaceful co-existence, mutual respect and harmony among communities, and bringing development in the state of Manipur.

He also emphasized that NPF would make every effort to normalize the situation in the state and called on the people of Manipur to contribute towards this goal.

It may be mentioned that the oath taking ceremony of Naga People’s Front Manipur State Unit office bearers for the tenure 2024-2028 was held on September 21 at NPF Central office, Kohima chaired by Honreikhui Kashung General Secy (Adm) MSU. Nagaland MLA, General Secy NPF Achumbemo Kikon administered the oath taking.
