One drown in Gun river in Churachandpur

KKL Volunteers and locals have reportedly fished out the body of Paominlal Haokip few minutes back.

An individual identified as Paominlal Haokip of K Salbung Churachandpur was drowned in Gun river on Wednesday.

Source said that Paominlal Haokip was drowned while crossing the river in a Gypsy vehicle. The incident site is in between Molnom and New Bijang, Sangaikot block Churachandpur district.

It is also said that he was with his father Mr Singkholen Haokip when the incident occurred. Fortunately his father survived.

KKL Volunteers and locals have reportedly fished out the body of Paominlal Haokip few minutes back while filing of this report. More details awaited.
