The Grassroot Football Program is a collaborative effort between the United Brother’s Football Club and the Ukhrul District Sports Association, aimed at providing quality coaching and guidance to aspiring young footballers. Sponsored by Dr. Alyson Abonmai, the candidate for the 18th Lok Sabha election, this program underscores his commitment to sports development and youth empowerment.

“My passion for football stems from his own experiences as a player, having captained the Manipur Junior Football Team from 1998-2000”, Dr Alyson said. Recognizing the importance of strong grassroots coaching, he believed that it lays the foundation for future success and instills essential values such as discipline and determination.
