UKHRUL: In the heart of Tamenglong, Manipur, the “Orange Queen 2025” pageant has drawn to a triumphant close, redefining beauty competitions in the region with its seamless fusion of cultural heritage, high production standards, and women’s empowerment.

Organized as a highlight of the 18th State Level Orange Festival, this groundbreaking event—directed by visionary pageant organizer and former Miss Manipur 2016 Phapha Gachui through her initiative Beyond Roots—elevated pageantry beyond glamour to a platform celebrating tribal pride, intellect, and community values.

Laikhuram Zeneva, representing the Meitei community and already a titleholder as Miss North East Manipur 2025, was crowned Orange Queen 2025 in a glittering ceremony at the Mini Stadium. She captivated judges and audiences alike, taking home the coveted crown along with a cash prize of Rs 2,00,000, a citation, and gift hampers.
