Outreach Screening Camp for Cervical Cancer was held at Noney district on Sunday.

The program was organised by Gynae Oncology Unit, Dept. of Obs & Gynae JNIMS in collaboration with Dept. of Pathology, JNIMS under the theme “Cervical Cancer Elimination Initiative”.

During the health camp conducted at Health and Wellness Centre, Khoupum, Noney district, doctors were led by Dr. Helen Kamei, Associate Professor, Obs & Gynae Dept, JNIMS while Staff Nurses & Para-Medical Staffs of Khoupum PHC assisted the doctors.

A total of 92 patients were registered out of which 70 patients were screened for Pap Smear, and 12 were physical examined.
