Over 70,000 people register for COVID-19 vaccine in Nagaland

Over 70,000 (seventy thousand) people have registered themselves for COVID-19 vaccine in Nagaland till January 28, according to an official report. Among them, 20,692 people are healthcare workers, the report added.

This information was disclosed by State Immunisation Officer (SIO) Dr.Ritu Thurr during a review meeting of the State Task Force in Kohima on Thursday.

According to Dr Ritu Thurr, 70,274 people have registered themselves for COVID-19 vaccine in the state till Thursday. He added that beneficiaries vaccinated for the first dose is 5,773. He further said that the first dose of vaccination will be till February 24, 2021.
