Phungcham Youths Hail Samagra Shiksha Manipur for Providing Essential School Infrastructure

Ukhrul, April 7: The Phungcham Katamnao Mayar Ngala Long (PKMNL) has expressed immense gratitude to Ng. Bhogendro Meitei, State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha, SIS Manipur, for providing essential infrastructure for Paocham High School in Phungcham, Ukhrul District, Manipur, on April 7, 2025.

PKMNL stated that Paocham High School has received 30 sets of benches and desks, two desktop computers, two uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), two printers, one projector, three computer tables, five rolling chairs, four cooking pots, three water filters, a first aid box, a 1000-litre water tank, two solar panels, a battery and inverter, as well as sports equipment like a carrom board, football, and volleyball.

While expressing their heartfelt appreciation, the student and youth body also reminded the relevant authorities that the school building is in a dilapidated condition and requires immediate repairs.

Currently, the school is managed by six teachers, including the headmistress. PKMNL appeals to the concerned authorities to assign additional teachers to ensure quality education for the students.

PKMNL also extends its gratitude to the ZEO of Ukhrul and staff for their positive response and looks forward to their continued support in addressing the needs of Paocham High School.
