They seek clarification from MLA 43-Phungyar AC, and Hill Areas Committee chairman, to clarify status on the assigned works under MLAs Local Area Developement Scheme for 2018 and 2019, Sl no. 9 (Agency Steward) for barb wire fencing and shed for Mithun rearing and 2019 and 2020, Sl. No. 9 (Agency Somingam) which included water tank. The press briefing argued that the two projects under the MPLADS schemes hasn’t been taken up.

“Khelo India which has been given to each block has not been given to Phungyar Block. Rumour has it that it has been given to Nambashi. We need the MLA to clarify this”, said the Phungyar chairman.

It also expressed its gratefulness for the work that has been completed such as Phungyar Public Cemetery to MLA Leishiyo Keishing.
