Postal ballot vote casting begins in Kohima

Kohima, Feb 20: The casting of votes through postal ballot for polling personnel, police personnel, and others drafted in election duty for the ensuing election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023 began today.

The facilitation centre for the government drivers requisitioned for election duty was at DB’s Court in the DC office of Kohima, the 10th IRB Personnel was at 10th IRB Camp in Zadima and the 4th NAP was at 4th NAP Camp in Thizama.

Further, on February 21, facilitation centre for police headquarters will be at PHQ in Kohima, for DEF, Home Guards, Fire & Emergency Service, C/ Coy 13 (IR) Yajang and NAP Rangers, 6th NAP Tizit, the facilitation centre will be at the SP office of Kohima and the facilitation centre for E/Coy 10th (IR) Zadima will be at Khuzama T.B Hospital.

 The casting of postal ballots started at 9 am and concluded at 4 pm.
